K9 Freedom Center Rules

 

 

When you are entering

or leaving the pens

please be sure

that all entrance gates

are closed appropriately.

There are two gates at each

entrance - only one gate

should be open at a time.

 

Leaving a gate

unsecured

could allow 

dogs to

escape the pens.

 

 

General Rules

 

  • The member may not assign membership or day passes to another party.  Day passes are not refundable.

  • The off-leash dog pen areas are for dogs, their handlers and those accompanying them.  No other use is allowed. No animals other than dogs shall be permitted in the off-leash areas.

  • Member must be in good physical condition to be able to supervise and control his/her dog(s).

  • The K9 Freedom pens are for use in the daytime hours only and may be closed at any time for maintenance or special events.

  • The K9 Freedom Center will be open only as needed by making advanced group reservations.

  • Trash must be disposed of in proper receptacles.

  • Smoking, Alcoholic beverages and illegal drugs are NOT allowed on the property.  This is an alcohol and drug free property. 

  • No one is allowed to bring guns, knives or weapons of any kind on to the property (no exceptions).

  • Handlers/Owners must be 18 years of age or older. No infants or small children (under eight (8) years old) are allowed in the pens at any time. An adult must accompany and supervise children ages 9-18.

  • All dogs at the facility (except in the designated pens) must be on-leash and may not remain outside the fenced area except for ingress and egress to the appropriate pen. Keep your dog on-leash as you get to and from the off-leash areas.

  • Member must remove his/her dog’s feces and/or vomit immediately and place in the trash receptacle provided. 

  • Member must pre-register any Agents (dog caregivers).  Agents must be 18 years of age or older, must sign an Agent Authorization Form and are subject to the same rules as members.

  • Each Guest must sign a waiver form in order to enter the fenced area and are subject to the same rules as members.

  • Parking is allowed only in designated parking areas.

  • Member will not allow any non-member dog to enter the fenced area at any time.

  • Members are responsible for any injuries caused by his/her dog.
